Tips on sending stuff to Iraq:

Energy Bars
Tobacco products
Squirt Guns
Comfort Items
Cookies


Use flat rate boxes-

Declare: Find out if you can send tobacco legally before declaring it.



Alcohol is illegal as are pork products. If you send contraband... you could get them in trouble.
Spam and vodka are probably not the greatest idea--

Check out this US Post office link for info on sending care packages, including banned items. Also, there's a phone # to call and the post office will send you a FREE kit of assorted mailing items (boxes, labels, etc.) to have on hand for assembling care packages.

Many people don't realize you can send them razorblades in the packages...my husband needs them for shaving frequently. You CANNOT send shaving cream in the aerosol bottles, but you can get packets of gel sometimes in the travel size areas.
